Our craftsmen use a combination of hand lasting and machine assistance to mould the upper into the desired shape during the lasting process. Extra care and attention are required to make sure the leather doesn’t get damaged as it is stretched and pinned to the last.

Once the upper is complete it must then be stitched or glued to the sole. The method used varies from shoe to shoe and affects the durability of the final product. Our craftsmen use a technique called sidewall stitching to create a strong seal between the upper and the sole.
